The Ozeri Thin scale was designed for the meticulous cook that want her measurements to be accurate, especially those who diet and are heeding portion control. I like it as it is so thin and takes such little space to store, less than ½ inch thick portable and very light weight. Tare Button: You ask or maybe you know, is for deducting the weight of the container you are using to weigh your ingredients, in other words, by using the Tare button, it will take into consideration the weight of the dish, measuring cup, etc to give you the exact weight of product you are measuring.

The Ozeri weighs from 0.1 oz to 11 lbs. It is equipped with 2 large buttons for easy operations and large Ultra Bright LED screen which weighs in pounds, kilograms, grams, and ounces, -- lbs, kg, g, and oz.

The Ozeri scale I received is made of stainless steel, very easy to clean; overlooking concern for between the buttons. It uses Lithium batteries and the scale has easy access for changing. It is sleek and a great addition to my kitchen and my husband has found it useful as well as it is so precise. It can be overly sensitive at times. it is a very smart scale and I would recommend it.
