Peter Millar Collections provided apparel worn by the members and wives of the International Team captained by Nick Price. The event, which was held October 1 through the 6, is one of the most prestigious and exciting biannual golf tournaments. It includes a team from the United States and one that includes international players.
United States Team
Last year, Peter Millar provided apparel for the United States team, and they felt it was fitting to outfit the international players this year. The company, which is expanding globally, hopes that outfitting the international team will highlight their emerging presence in the global market.
Clothing Types
For the players, Peter Millar will provide uniforms and tailored clothing made of super 120s wool and pants of superfine wool, as well as other high performance products. They will also receive dress shirts of imported cotton and cashmere sweaters, along with imported silk neckwear. Their wives will wear classic styles such as oxford polo shirt and feminine silhouettes as a base layer.
US Wins
Although the International Team was dressed magnificently, the US won the tournament with a score of 18.5 over the International Team’s 15.5. Members of the US team included such well-known golfers as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Bill Haas, and Jason Dufner. The International Team consisted of many well-known players, including Ernie Els, Jason Day, Adam Scott and Graham DeLaet.
