I received notice about not adding Facebook Likes to events/contests any more, so I wanted my readers to be aware. I am starting to receive notices from events that I have signed up to change a Facebook Like to another choice, so watch for those.
I have also come upon these to Slideshare presentations that you might find helpful. Let me know what your thoughts are on changes. Very frustating to me and others.

Bloggers doing giveaway will no longer be allowed to put their Facebook Fan page on a host page for likes.
This means: We will have to use Twitter, Pinterest, Picket Fence and YouTube instead.
FANS: There is NOTHING we can do about this. Facebook is placing holds on bloggers accounts.

It appears that a significant number of the “Likes” or “Subscriptions” to your Page may have been obtained in violation of our terms. This is a result of your participation in gaining likes in an inauthentic manner. Gaining likes by placing the like button on like-farms is not legal. We have found you to be doing the same at and other sites. Likes have to be authentic and users should not be forced to like a page. In order to address this issue, we have taken the steps necessary to remove these Likes or Subscriptions and have placed a temporary restriction on your page to gain external likes for 30 days. Make sure you make the changes within this duration. This decision is final and cannot be appealed.
